In recent years, with the help of the construction of Made in China 2025 and the Belt and Road, CHIGO has achieved a remarkable development in the mainstream markets and emerging markets, accelerating its layout and expansion of overseas markets. Recently, good news came from CHIGO’s overseas market again--CHIGO successfully won the bid of China - Laos railway project.

After the Belt and Road was proposed, China - Laos railway was the first international railway to be mainly invested by China and directly connected with the Chinese railway network. It is also an important part of the Trans-Asian Railway. Under the great concept of the Belt and Road, the Trans-Asian Railway is a unified freight railway network that runs through the Eurasian continent. According to the Intergovernmental Agreement on the Asian Railway Network, in the near future, the gold-corridor formed by four Steel Silk Roads will connect the two continents of Europe and Asia. The criss-cross trunk lines and branches will weave a huge economic cooperation network.

The 417 km-long Railway runs northwards from Yuxi City, Yunnan Province, China. It passes through Pu'er City, Xishuangbanna, Mohan, the border port between China and Laos, and then runs through the Laos famous tourist destination, Luang Prabang and the capital of Laos, Vientiane.

After the completion of the project, on the one hand, it will greatly promote the economic and social development of Laos, raise the efficiency and level of its transportation and create a large number of employment opportunities for Laos. On the other hand, it will also inject new impetus into the economic development for southwestern China.

Part of the railway project from Boten to Vientiane, constructed by China Railway, is jointly implemented by the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 8th, 10th, 14th and 15th Offices of China Railway. Among them, CHIGO won the bid for the project including 2nd, 10th, 14th, 15th Offices and other major construction branch air-conditioning projects. In addition to its product strength, the supply of spare parts, the timely pre-sale and after-sale service, are all CHIGO’ s advantages to compete with other AC brands. The project has officially started in Laos, and many batches of air-conditioning have been stationed in it.

According to the overseas marketing division of CHIGO, after the construction of the Belt and Road, CHIGO seized the development and business opportunities at once. In addition to winning consecutive major projects such as Kazakhstan's airports and the China-Laos railway, CHIGO has also built high-end brand image along the Belt and Road by participating in the exhibitions held in these districts, such as Russia and Inner Mongolia. In 2016, the market share of the CHIGO air-conditioners in the Belt and Road countries was about 10%, that is, every 10 air conditioners, there was one produced by CHIGO.
