Ranking First in Myanmar for 4 Years! 50% Growth in 2016!

Recently, MCG Group, CHIGO’s sole agent in Myanmar, held 2017 Dealers’ Conference solemnly in Yangon, the largest city in Myanmar, taking it as the demonstration area for promotion of self-owned brands overseas. More than 600 dealers’ representatives from Myanmar attended the event.  

 

 

 

 

At the conference, agents and massive dealers of CHIGO in Myanmar jointly reviewed the achievements of CHIGO in expansion of local market. It was reported that, in 12 years after CHIGO’s entry to the Myanmar market, the sales volume of CHIGO air-conditioners in Myanmar increased from thousands of sets to more than a hundred thousand sets under the joint efforts of manufacturers, agents and dealers. CHIGO has a market share of over 40% in Myanmar, ranking first for 4 consecutive years. In 2016, it even embraced a sales growth of 50% over 2015, far ahead of other air-conditioning brands! Through more than ten years of market expansion, CHIGO has won universal praise for its powerful products, services and brands among Myanmar consumers, and raised the customer confidence to the brand CHIGO.

 

Many dealers reported that the main models of CHIGO exported to Myanmar were for onetime in short supply in 2016. At that time, local people said, “In Myanmar, you may have money to buy gold, but not CHIGO air-conditioner”. Why are CHIGO air-conditioners so popular among Myanmar consumers? According to agents, many merchants cooperate with CHIGO mainly because of the excellent product quality, powerful supply ability of parts and components, and high-end air-conditioning brand image of CHIGO. As it is very hot in Myanmar, CHIGO can meet the needs of local consumers for its fast cooling and sufficient air volume. At present, CHIGO has more than 200 dealer outlets across Myanmar. Also, its powerful service ability of feedback in 24 hours has enhanced the customer confidence greatly.

 

At the evening banquet for dealers, Li Xinghao, Board Chairman & President of CHIGO Group brought a surprise for its agents in Myanmar - at the beginning of cooperation, he promised to present the “golden horse” as long as CHIGO’ s market share ranked first in Myanmar. On the day of conference, Chen Jianxia, Director of Asian-Pacific Region from the Sales Department of CHIGO presented the “golden horse” to the Myanmar agent MCG Group, and conveyed the best wishes of the founder Li Xinghao. He wishes to successfully expand the Myanmar market in 2017 and looks forward to their further cooperation and win-win future.
